Journalist, Writer, Poet, Actor, Singer, Comparer, Stamp Collector, Businessmen, Traveller, Socialized Rashid Anis was born on 2nd January’ 1973 in Karachi-Pakistan।
Rashid is a Ambassador of Pakistan due to his talent and personality he introduce Pakistan around the Globe. His name was Itzaz-ur-Rehman but tribute to Rashid Minhas it was changed as Rashid Anis.
Rashid has travel many countries such as USA, UK, UAE, India, Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, Mexico, Bangladesh, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Holland, Italy and Canada, He went every where and talent and performance together made his career.
Even though, he spent his childhood in Abu Dhabi-UAE, where he was given his early education in Sheikh Khalifah Bin Zaid Pakistani School and then later he permanently moved Karachi, Pakistan।
Rashid’s Grand Father from Dad side Mr.Muqarrab-ur-Rehman (Late) was not only was a Poet also a famous name in the World of Watches as he was the Owner of M R Watch Company who use to have the most of the Hindustan Railway Station’s Clock’s repairing contracts and in other side Grand Father from Mother side Mr.Mohammad Bashir Janjua (Late) also had a Prominent name in the World of Sports as Kohinoor Sports within Sub-Continent.
1987, when he was not even did his O’level exams, he participate in collecting Stamps exhibition called Karapex’87 which held in Rangoonwala Hall in Karachi and had achievement of ‘Galaxy of Youth’ Award by RCD’s 1st Pakistani Stamp Designer Mr.Mussarrat Hussain Zubairi and then later regular basis he attend Karapex’88 & ’89 and receive award by world known famous Pakistani Stamp Designer Mr.Adil Salahuddin.
After these activities he become more confident and strong in his strengths and not only continues his education also by his parent’s attention he concentrates further in his hobbies.
In the celebration activities of Independence of Pakistan in Rangoonwala Hall in Karachi, He participate in ‘Deapex’ and front of all candidates he bring 1st position and won ‘The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award’ in the presence of Founder of Hamdard and the Governor of Sindh Hakim Mohammad Saeed.
In the event of Independency of Pakistan, he also act in stage drama ‘Azadi’ with famous Pakistani Stage and Tv artist Erum Hassan in Rio Auditorium in Karachi and participate in ‘Sohni Dharti Mini Marathon Race’ and Won from Kemari to the Monument Tomb of Founder of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah in कराची.
Every year he took place in various occasions and in return he receives Awards, Certificate and मेदल्सHe participate in Essay competition organized by Anjuman Talba-e-Islam and Won a book from Quaid-e-Azam’s personal Secretary Mr ।Imtiaz Ahmed।
Same year in 1993, he was called by British Philatelic Society in London and was given chance to show his Optimistic Stamps to the World of Audience in the Royal Airforce Stamps Exhibition ‘Eur-Apex’ 93 which was held in Royal Horticultural Society, Victoria in London and again Won, this time he represented Pakistan in International event and when Pakistani Flag was taken over in a Foreign country he was also feeling very much proud as not only Pakistani’s also Foreigners was the witness too of his life’s full of Surprises. Later he participates in Thematica ’97 in Marble Arch and then his struggle continue and lead him to brighter future.
While he use to live in Karachi, many people also know him through Radio Pakistan Karachi studio, he regular attends ‘Bazm-e-Talba’ where his famous Debate was on ‘Kuch Karlo Naujawano Uthti Jawanian Hain’ now again also in London many people knows him through his Voice from Kismet Radio & Website around the Globe, He Produced and Present a Documentary Programmed on legendary superstar of Bollywood Mr.Amitabh Bachan which Broadcast on his Birthday and now have many fans.
In London nowadays he is also doing acting in 2 dramas ‘Badalte Mausam’ and ‘Saas Chalee Susraal’, So many people already know him by his Debut in Britannia Accident Claim Advertisement. Recently He signed Indian movie where he is doing the Climax scene and preparing for the India Revival’s Stage Drama ‘Khamoshi Ke Raaste’ which He will be playing on Diwali all around UK.
Rashid did his A’ levels from Islamia Commerce College and then moved to London and taken further education from university of Greenwich.
After the event of Eur-Apex’93, he settled permanently in London and now running a Sports Business ‘Eurotrek’ and promoting a brand which produce Cricket, Hockey and Football from the World of Sports City Sialkot-Pakistan.
Rashid also has worked as a Fashion Designer for German based Men’s Fashion company ‘Hugo Boss’ and did Modeling for World Duty Free and British Airport Authority and now engaged with Virgin Atlantic Airlines।
Recently, Rashid has Interview Rehmat Khan, Coach of World Squash Champion and 10 times British Open Title holder Jahangir Khan which was Published in many Countries.
